Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb

lush sex bomb

If you want to pamper yourself (or pamper yourself with a special someone, wink wink!), this is the perfect product for you! I’m not much of a bath person, but the Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb totally converted me. You drop it into your bath water and it actually turns the water pink. Better yet, it makes the water feel almost silky. I don’t even know how to describe it…but after bathing in this water for a while your skin will be soooooo soft! I literally did not even have to use a moisturizer after bathing with this product.

And the smell is heavenly. The website describes it as scents of “jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang.” My other favorite product by Lush is their Godiva Solid Shampoo…also amazing!

Click to purchase Sex Bomb Bath Bomb by LUSH for $5.95. You can also pick up Godiva Solid Shampoo by LUSH while you are there.

Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Feet Treat Stress Relief - Tranquil Mint

I don’t know about you, but come summer and I pretty much live in flip flops. That’s perfectly wonderful comfort wise, but as far as rough heels and calluses go, it’s not so great. I’m almost embaressed to go in and get a pedicure because I don’t want the people at the salon to see the horrible state of my heels! So, I was pretty happy to discover this great kit from Bath and Body Works…it’s their Aromatherapy Feet Treat Stress Relief - Tranquil Mint.

You can use this kit to buff off the dead skin and then moisturize (and make your tootsies smell good and minty!). Better yet, have your husband use the stress relief lotion to give you a nice foot massage while you’re at it :) Buy it from Bath and Body Works. Get it while it’s hot…right now it’s on sale for just $10.50, marked down from $15.00!

Go Green With Homemade Beauty Recipes

I love how we are all trying to go green with our beauty, fashion and household products - but like most things that are good for us, it tends to be a bit more expensive. Unfortunately I can’t always afford a $10 bottle of “organic, all natural” facial cream, but rather the $6.99 “chemically balanced” scrub. However, I found a few Homemade Beauty Recipes that are ‘el naturale’ and much cheaper! Here’s the Sublime Sunflower Scrub recipe:

Ingredients:
1/2 cup raw sunflowers seeds, shelled
Distilled water for mixing

In a food processor or coffee grinder, process the raw seeds until you have a fine powder that resembles coarse sugar. Pour into a clean container with a tight-fitting lid. Mix 1 tablespoon of the ground sunflower seeds with a few teaspoons of water to create a smooth paste. You can do this in the palm of your hand or in a ceramic bowl. Massage the mixture into your face and neck, and rinse well with warm water followed by cool water. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel.

Yields: 4 oz, enough for eight facial treatments or one full-body treatment

Check out this Chocolate Lip Gloss Recipe that will have you licking your lips!

American Crew Tea Tree Body Lotion

I’m so into tea tree oil it’s not even funny.

I love my Kiehl’s Tea Tree Oil Toner, there’s just something about it that sets it apart from other products. It has to be the tea tree oil. It’s magical!

Tea tree oil has medicinal applications as an antiseptic and antifungal agent. It can also treat insect bites and minor wounds. It has also been known to help soothe sunburns, poison ivy and bee stings. I told you, magical!

I saw rub it all over yourself. Daily.

Also has almond oil and shea butter. Oh, yea.

Cost: $10
