CHANEL Glossimer has been a favorite for a few years now. Not for anyone who considers themselves more of a lipstick or chapstick person because this gloss is GLOSSY. It will stick to your lips and STAY there for hours. I believe I read that a beauty editor once ran the New York City marathon with Glossimer on and it didn’t budge. Truly worth the price for the ultra-glossy look.

I’m such a M.A.C. product junkie. But it’s because even though their products are slightly more expensive than drugstore cosmetics, they are SO worth it. I’m crazy about M.A.C. Lipglass: Pushglass. Lip glosses often dry my lips out, but Pushglass comes with conditioners for your lips to moisturize, as well as Vitamin E to protect you from the elements. And I don’t know what is in their formula, but it totally makes my lips tingle when I put it on!

I was flipping through this issues Cosmopolitan magazine when I came across this helpful tip about making your lip gloss do double duty. They encouraged you to use a pearly white gloss as both your normal lip gloss and as a highlighter. One of my favorite lip glosses is by DiorKiss in “Sorbet Meringue” or “Pink Marshmallow“. You can apply it to your lips, right under your eyebrows, and a long your cheeks for some subtle definition. I tried the, “Pink Marshmallow” color and even though it’s a pink it was perfect for my fair skin adding just the right amount of sparkle.

My very first lip plumper is still my favorite. Duwop Lip Venom Original (cost $16) was the also the very first lip plumper on the market, basically creating the lip plumping category in the beauty industry. The tingly gloss uses essential oils to enhance your lips’ natural color and shape by increasing circulation. The result? Fuller “bee stung” lips. You end up with a naturally rosy pout that can’t be achieved by wearing ordinary lip gloss. I usually put this as a top-coat over a lip gloss with more color.

Love love looooooooove Agatha Ruiz de la Prada lip balms. These fruity flavored glosses smell so good you will literally want to lick them right off your lips!

They give you a pretty shine, but they’re not too sticky like some lip glosses. And the smell is to die for. I tried to just buy one last time I was at the store, but I ended up getting three more flavors! My favorites are the Kiwi and Passion Fruit Flavors, but they also have a delicious scented Raspberry, Cherry, Papaya and Tutti Frutti.
