Aussie Mega Hair Spray

To finish, I like a quick, all-over mist to guard against the wind demons. This spray has, well, mega hold. It also smells really good. I’ve had guys literally stop mid-makeout session to tell me how good my hair smells. Seriously.

I do this totally 80s, upside down application technique — for maximum volume — but I doubt it’s completely necessary. I’m just addicted to the head rush.

Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb

lush sex bomb

If you want to pamper yourself (or pamper yourself with a special someone, wink wink!), this is the perfect product for you! I’m not much of a bath person, but the Lush Sex Bomb Bath Bomb totally converted me. You drop it into your bath water and it actually turns the water pink. Better yet, it makes the water feel almost silky. I don’t even know how to describe it…but after bathing in this water for a while your skin will be soooooo soft! I literally did not even have to use a moisturizer after bathing with this product.

And the smell is heavenly. The website describes it as scents of “jasmine, clary sage and ylang ylang.” My other favorite product by Lush is their Godiva Solid Shampoo…also amazing!

Bed Head TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Booster

bed head curls rock

Let me start out by saying that all products work differently on different women’s hair. What works for one woman doesn’t necessarily work for another. I’d like to think that Bed Head TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Booster is the exception to that rule though. I have thin, fine, curly hair. My friend has thick, spiral curls (I know, how lucky right?!?). And another friend of mine has wavy hair. We ALL use this product and love it! It keeps us all frizz free, gives us defined curls and none of that gross crunchy texture.

Biosilk Silk Therapy

Whether you have curly, coarse, straight, or wavy hair Biosilk Silk Therapy is the product for you. Most of us have some degree of fly aways and use curling irons, blow dryers, and/or flat irons. Which means protecting your hair is very important. Biosilk is a great product that is highly recommended by just about everyone for protecting you hair against heat AND making it super shiny and healthy looking. Not to mention that it helps in managing fly aways.

In the end a small bottle of this stuff will last you awhile and because each of us are different, we all use different amounts. I personally have normally hair that gets weighed down easily so using only a drop or two is great. While my friend has super thick, coarse, curly hair and used about a nickel sized amount. To be on the safe side start with a very small amount and figure it out from there. It’s a before styling product so after towel drying your hair rub a small amount through starting with the ends and staying away from your scalp. Then simply style as usual.

Cost: $13.50-32.00

Conair Infinity Pure Ceramic Straightener

I think we all know by now that the best flat irons are usually the most expensive. As much as I’d like a professional grade iron, I don’t have the $150+ to be spending on it. Plus, when you can find a cheap version that works well why bother. I have normal hair that tends to frizz and it’s wavy. The back of my hair is a nightmare and my stylists said it’s because I have a “deep” wave.

I bought the Conair Infinity Pure Ceramic Staightener at Walgreens, because my previous one just wasn’t cutting it and I was tired of semi flat hair. This one has a 1′ ceramic plate, 5 heating levels, and Auto shut off (LOVE!). It gets very hot and I’ve burned my hands plenty just by touching my hair. I’ve had it not for almost 6 months and it still works as good as the first day I bought it and I’ve never once regretted my purchase. I’ve scoured the internet and found almost all good reviews. People seemed to be pleased with the iron and you can’t beat the price.

Cost: $ 38.71
