Rescue Beauty ‘Dead Calm’

I’m hardly adventorous when it comes to nail colors - it’s either a neutral, light pink, or a deep red - but I’m tired of the same old, same old. So I was watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians (ok, it’s my new guilty pleasure) and Kim Kardashian had on a dark navy blue nail polish that I fell in love with! I found Rescue Beauty Dead Calm which seems to be a close comparison. With navy fashion being all the rage this season, it’ll be perfect! Although, it’s a bit expensive in my taste for nail polish, I haven’t found anything similar and cheaper.

Chanel has a darker blue, think if vamp was blue, it was in Glamour this April issue. I already passed it on, or I would look up the shade number/
March 17th, 2008 @ 4:18 pmOPI has two navy blue shades, one from their Russian Collection and one from their lateset India collection. The names escape me right now though, and they are less expensive than Rescus Beauty Lounge.
March 17th, 2008 @ 10:47 pmChanel’s Blue Satin (461) was all over their Spring runway and now just about everyone has come out with their take on the navy shade. The best one I’ve seen at the most attainable price is OPI’s Yoga-Ta Gets This Blue (147) at 6.95, it’s not as dark as the Chanel version but it’s got its own charm. If you’re really on a budget wet n’ wilds has a shade called sapphire blue for .99 that works too.
