I’m hardly adventorous when it comes to nail colors - it’s either a neutral, light pink, or a deep red - but I’m tired of the same old, same old. So I was watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians (ok, it’s my new guilty pleasure) and Kim Kardashian had on a dark navy blue nail polish that I fell in love with! I found Rescue Beauty Dead Calm which seems to be a close comparison. With navy fashion being all the rage this season, it’ll be perfect! Although, it’s a bit expensive in my taste for nail polish, I haven’t found anything similar and cheaper.

Cost: $18.00

Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

I was deathly afraid that tinted moisturizer meant no coverage. I was wrong. Very wrong in fact. I tried out this Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer because it’s been one of the number one sellers for Sephora for two years in a row and was voted one of the best tinted moisturizers by “Shape” magazine. If it’s good enough for thousands of women it should be good enough for me,… right? Right!

It was easy to apply when I used my fingertips and it looked just as good when I used a make-up sponge. I noticed right away that using my moisturizer before apply wasn’t necessary because the Stila product alone is a good moisturizer. It doesn’t have any sparkle in it so it’s natural looking. I was able to build coverage although to be honest one coat with a little concealer was all I needed. My skin is dry and sensitive and I had no issues with caking, or breaking out. I loved it so much that I threw out my other foundation and I’m a true Stila user. I’ll keep testing things out but I really think this is the one for me.

Cost: $32.00

Nars Creme Blush

I spent hours at the Sephora in search of the perfect creme, mouse, and/or tint and I finally found it. Nars Creme Blush was by far the best looking, easiest to apply, and most natural blush there. Well I should say there was another one that I loved as well but that’s for a different review which will be coming soon.

Anyway back to the Nars blush. Many, many, many people love the powder and it’s in fact been given a ton of awards and is always sold out. Trust me! I tried two different colors which were the bestest most favoritist color and they were both sold out. I advise you to try them in the store and if they don’t have the color you love, buy it online. Applying the color was super simple, because it’s has a very nice creamy texture and you can move it around without fear of staining. I have dry skin and this blush was superb for it and actually made it glow. The color wasn’t sparkly, or too pink and it added a bit of bronze as well. It definitely made my cheekbones stand out. I personally think it was worth the money and you only use have to use a bit so it lasts quite awhile.

FYI: I have very pale skin and even though the colors look bright, or too brown they actually end up quite natural looking. The best color for me was Cactus Flower.

Cost: $24.00
