Put down that drugstore brand eyeshadow! Eyeshadow is one of the few makeup items you can tell is cheap when you put it on. The color fades early into the night, or it may crease and crack, so splurge a bit this season on your eyeshadow! They’re fun, whether they’re neutral or colorful and you can mix it up differently each day. That’s definitely one thing you can’t do with your foundation! I really like MAC Eye Shadow Lustre Gleam, it lasts long on your eyes, goes on smooth - plus MAC has other great colors to choose from.

I was an intern for Fox 5 Good Day New York a few years back and one day I was just about to leave my shift, which was from 4am - 11am, when I was asked to be a “leg model” for the midday show. I was like leg model for what?! It was exactly for Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs, Light Glow, and that’s how I was introduced to this fab product! Now on the show I was put into a Tarzan looking outfit (I forget why) with my hairy legs, I obviously didn’t know I would be doing such a thing, to demonstrate how this product covers up scars, blemishes and so forth on national television! I was embarrassed! I guess fortunately I have a scar about an inch long and a quarter inch thick near my ankle, and sure enough this stuff covered it. I have lots of scars on my legs from playing sports and rough housing when I was younger, so when I wear skirts or dresses to a party or a night out but don’t want to wear stockings, I put this stuff on which dries in 60 seconds and voila, it’s like foundation for your legs. Becareful not to put too much on, because like foundation, putting too much can either make you look pale or too dark if you don’t buy the right skin tone.

After blowing and straightening your hair, it can look a little frizzy or dry, especially on the ends. So I use just a touch of Redken 03 Water Wax Pomade and it leaves my hair looking sleek and shiny, plus it gives my hair a little bit of separation. I’ve literally had this product in my bathroom for years, that’s how little I have to put, and of course I don’t use it every day. If you put too much in one spot your hair can look oily or greasy, so just put a small amount on your fingers, rub your hands together and start with the ends of your hair.
