M.A.C. Lipglass: Pushglass

pushglass

I’m such a M.A.C. product junkie. But it’s because even though their products are slightly more expensive than drugstore cosmetics, they are SO worth it. I’m crazy about M.A.C. Lipglass: Pushglass. Lip glosses often dry my lips out, but Pushglass comes with conditioners for your lips to moisturize, as well as Vitamin E to protect you from the elements. And I don’t know what is in their formula, but it totally makes my lips tingle when I put it on!

By far my favorite lip gloss, I love the hint of color and shine that it gives my lips! This season champagne is a big color for lips so pick it up in the “Wildly Lush” color to keep up with the trends :) You can find it reasonably priced, here.

Don’t Look Orange This Summer, Use Clinque True Bronze Press Powder Bronzer

Saturday, March 15th, 2008 at 9:05 am

As you can tell, I’m a fan of Clinque products. Being fair skin it’s hard to find a bronzer that blends well without my face looking really tan and my neck/chest really white. I hate that! Even in the winter when I get way pale, I use Clinque’s True Bronzed Press Powder Bronzer (but just a touch here and there) and I don’t look dead anymore. It has three great colors; Sunblushed, Sunkissed, Sunswept. I use the Sunkissed tone. And it lasts a long time because you don’t need to add a lot to get a little color and shimmer. My Clinque bronzer compact was left in the car in the cold a couple months ago, so when I dropped it once I got to my room, the powder broke into pieces! But I love it so much I picked the pieces up and put it back in the compact - and I use it to this day! And no, there were no dust balls or dirt stuck in the powder, my floors are clean. =)

Cost: $23.50

Purchase online at Sephora or Clinque.

Celebrity Perfect Skin

I envy the celebs for their beautiful skin! I can’t afford their dermatologist or makeup artists, so here a few beauty tips of How Stars Really Get Perfect Skin that I found on Glamour.com.

Emergency cover-up

One weapon you’ll find in red-carpet clutches: the EraseZit Antiseptic Concealer Pencil. It treats and covers, says facialist Joanna Czech of Sava Spa. Before bed, make like Jessica Biel and dab on Sonya Dakar’s Drying Potion. Or try Dakar’s pimple paste: a packet of yeast and water.

Sally Hansen Brush-On Facial Hair Remover

Saturday, March 15th, 2008 at 9:05 am

nair.jpg

We all have facial hair, no doubt about that, but how do you remove yours? I use Sally Hansen Brush-On Facial Hair Remover. This is a fabulous product because you don’t even have to touch the nair, you just brush it on. No mess and no smelly fingers! I’ve tried threading and waxing (I refuse to shave!) but my skin is so sensitive that I end up breaking out. So with one other option left, I discovered this fabulous product a few years back and have been using it ever since. It lasts a long time (I use it 2-3 times a month) and my hair doesn’t grow back darker, thicker, or more!

Cost: $6.59

Purchase at Amazon.
