Honey Mask
Sunday, March 9th, 2008 at 9:27 amLadies, treat your man to an easy, at-home date night: Food Spa!
First, you get each other all gooey. Then, you wash off together in the shower or tub. Good dirty-clean fun.
Turn out the lights and light up some candles. Turn on nice, relaxing music and slip into your robes, sweatpants or whatever is most comfortable for you — yet easy to remove without having to pull over your head.
There are all kinds of concoctions you can spread over each other, of course, but one of the easiest homemade masks is the Honey Mask.
Very inexpensive, this everyday kitchen item is good for the skin. Use it as a moisturizing mask, which is super easy to do because it only has a single ingredient — honey!
As always, wash your face first. Use: 100% pure clover honey. Take turns applying a nice thin layer of honey to each other’s face and neck (a thicker coat will drip). Leave on for 15 – 30 minutes and rinse with warm water. Finish with a cold water rinse.
For back, shoulders and chest while using the mask, try Oatmeal — it has a soothing, anti-inflammatory agent that helps heal rough, itchy, and acne-prone skin. Sloughs off dead skin cells, creating a clean, smooth feel with glowing results.
Mix oatmeal with baking soda Water, adding just enough water to create a paste. Allow to set, about 15-30 minutes. Rinse with warm water, followed by a cold rinse (I hate cold water, so I just use a damp, cold wash cloth).
Using these simple everyday items, you can kick-start an intimate and beauty enhancing night in!
