Jergens Natural Glow Express
Ladies I’m back for the weekly new product review and this time I bring you the brand new Jergens Natural Glow Express. I’m sure you are all familiar with the Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer that has just a hint of “buildable” coverage, but takes about a week or so to see any color. Well this is their express version and let me tell you it really is quite fast.
I have pale legs and most self tanners leave me not only with the streaks, but with a severe orange glow which is just not attractive in any way I don’t care what Lindsay Lohan thinks. I’ve been using this product for a week and I’ve used it like a regular daily lotion and so far so good. It says that you get a full shade of color in 3 days, but I had a full shade in two. I over applied it because I was impatient and I’m just like that.
I will say that if your pale like me you have to go with the lightest version which is for medium skin tones and don’t apply it every day after 3 days. I would apply it once a day for 3 days and then apply as needed otherwise you will start to get orangey.
Bottom line is for me it’s the perfect self tanner that doesn’t leave me streaky AT ALL and didn’t give me the Lohan look. As for the smell? Well all self tanners have a certain smell and if I’m comparing then I would say Jergens is one of the least offensive, but it doesn’t exactly smell like roses.
Have any suggestions for next weeks product review feel free to email me and I’ll be your guinea pig.
Cost: $7.49

I love this product. I just picked it up on Sunday and already look “sunkissed” So happy you are reviewing it!
March 5th, 2008 @ 1:35 pmWARNING! It will come off on white sheets!
March 5th, 2008 @ 6:34 pmJulie Ann do you know which color you used? I used the medium and I have white sheets and there was no rubbing off of color. Of course I always put mine on in the morning so there was an entire day of drying.
Please let me know if anyone else has had that problem and I can add a warning.
March 5th, 2008 @ 8:26 pmlove this stuff…i put it on in the morning after a shower while my legs are still a little wet…no problem with sheets at night
March 6th, 2008 @ 5:48 amI used the medium, and I did put it on at night after a shower about an hour before I went to bed. Maybe that’s the key - use it in the morning!
March 6th, 2008 @ 10:57 ami adore this stuff! i really liked the origional jergens daily glow, but this is an added bonus because of the quickness. i spend so much on this i should get a bulk load deal from jergens
i think this is one of the best self tanners. and if you mix it with a little johnson’s baby lotion it gets rid of that “fake tan” smell!
