Gentlemen, rejoice! I’m about to save you from a world of pain. Want to avoid razor burn? Stop using shaving gel out of a tin can.

The best shaving creams come in a tube.

Alba Purely Simple Moisturizing Shaves are great for the face, creamy and soft. Alba shave creams are enriched with vitamins, organic herbs and plant proteins. Formulated for all skin types, the Unscented Cream Shave is perfect for the discriminating man.

While I love my products and display them proudly, I don’t like frilly foo-foo items in my cabinet. I’m not trying to be a drag queen. Just a pretty boy!

Embrace Yourself With Gillette’s New Level Of Smoothness

Thursday, February 28th, 2008 at 12:35 pm

venus-embrace.jpg

Like a man, I get a 5 o’clock shadow, but on my legs! If it’s one thing that I hate doing being a woman, it’s shaving….ugh! With spring and summer right around the corner, the shorts, skirts and bikini will all be a part of our daily fashion. Normally I would buy a man’s razor because it offers a closer shave - but alas, I have found a razor that offers the same as a man’s….it’s the Gillette Venus Embrace. Finally a razor with five blades for that close shave and it’s surrounded by a protective ribbon of moisture to help glide smoothly across your legs. Amazing! Oh, how razors have changed.

You can purchase on Amazon or at your local drug stores.

Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder

Revlon Skinlights

When I started searching for a good bronzer, I really wanted a loose powder because I feel like with loose powder you’re less likely to get the streaky look. It took me so long to come across a good one but when I finally found Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder, I was so happy!

This stuff adds color to my face in a way that doesn’t look unnatural. I feel like it gives me a nice glow, but is very light. It has a bit of shimmer, but not too much. A lot of bronzers tend to make people look really shiny and too bright, but the Revlon Skinlights gives you very subtle color. It comes with a big brush to apply, goes on easy, and look beautiful!

L’Oreal Revitalift

Thursday, February 28th, 2008 at 8:15 am

revitalift

I’m always so skeptical about products that claim to take away your wrinkles magically…who isn’t? L’Oreal Revitalift claims to reduce lines and wrinkles within four weeks and firm skin within 8 days. I’m not going to lie, I never remember to consistently use this every single night for a whole month to see if it actually takes my wrinkles away. But as far as firming skin goes, it does a great job.

The regular L’Oreal Revitalift face lotion is a nice moisturizer. I like it, I don’t love it. But the Revitalift Eye, I would definitely recommend. It was hard to put a finger on what was different after I used the product for a few days, but I would say that it made my eyes look a little bit more awake. When I put this cream on overnight, I would wake up and my skin actually looked refreshed!
You can buy the face cream here, and the eye cream here.

The Loeffler Randall Crinkled Patent Satchel

Thursday, February 28th, 2008 at 8:15 am

Any self respecting girl knows that the key to a great outfit is a complementary bag. Here is one that that I am absolutely coveting for spring by Loeffler Randall. The husband and wife design team behind the brand always manage to create cute, feminine pieces without seeming cheesy, and this bag is no exception. I love the knotted handles and it’s roomy shape. It looks like the perfect sized bag to fit in all your daily essentials without being too big and bulky. Get yours for $685 at Eluxury in either black or creme.

Loeffler Randall bag

P.S. If you haven’t already, you can still catch Loeffler Randall’s lower priced line for Target. But hurry- the goodies are only around until March 28th!!!
